Partly barrel-fermented, the 2013 vintage (★★★★★) is mouthfilling and vibrantly fruity, with crisp tropical-fruit flavours of melons, limes and passionfruit, showing excellent concentration, a subtle seasoning of oak adding richness and complexity, and a dry, lingering finish. Certified organic.

Certified organic, the debut 2013 vintage (★★★★★) was estate-grown in the northern Wairarapa, fermented in old French oak barrels and held in wood for a lengthy period, with occasional lees-stirring. Bright, light lemon/green, it is weighty, fleshy and sweet-fruited, with lovely mouthfeel and harmony. Deliciously ripe and rounded, with deep, ripely herbaceous flavours, slightly toasty and nutty, it has gentle acidity, a creamy texture and great drinkability.
